Brookville
Lake |
Brookville Lake is situated in the picturesque Whitewater River Valley. This valley and the surrounding area are known for the contributions they made to Indiana history. Traces of prehistoric Indian mounds, known for their archaeological significance, can still be found in some parts of the valley. The first section of land given to the white man by the Miami Indians in 1795 lies south of Brookville Lake. The Greenville treaty line signifying this decree runs through the property.
